Product Research

We use industry best practices to gather information about your product's purpose, development direction and provide custom solutions which lead to delightful customer experiences. We use surveys and qualitative analysis to identify user needs and their demands during the entire product lifecycle. Before Launch - to identify and prioritise features, Soft Launch - To understand how useful and effective your MVP is, and Post Launch - To study reactions and user behaviour, analyse user satisfaction and identify improvement areas.

User Research

To understand if a product can be successful, one must focus on understanding their users; our Product Experience Team is well versed in different aspects of user research.
  • Qualitative Research - With ethnographic research and user interviews, our team can help you build a deep understanding of user behaviour and help you understand their needs and your product shortfalls.
  • Quantitative research - With a more structured approach, we use surveys, polls, questionnaires etc, to gather measurable data about what users do and test our assumptions developed from qualitative research.
  • During the product lifecycle we use various other methods such as card sorting, A/B tests, tree testing, guerrilla testing etc.

Design Strategy

A beautiful design is only as good as the user's experience. We architect strategies for the most complex apps and create effective testing environments to ensure your users love the product experience. We blend used needs with business goals to help your product grow consistently. With insights gained from user research about customer's habits, behaviours, frustrations, needs, and wants, we craft delightful and simple product experiences. Depending on the product needs we adapt our 5 step design process (Empathise, Problem Definition, Ideation, prototyping, Testing the solution) to align for the best possible outcome.

PLG ideation
PHASE 1

Research & Strategy

We use quantitative, qualitative research and heuristic analysis to identify user habits, needs, behaviours, and frustration. This gives us a clear understanding of the design direction.
PLG empathise
PHASE 2

Empathise

To fully understand users, we need to be in their shoes. User interviews and cognitive mapping help us empathise with them to understand, mirror and share their expressions, needs, and motivations.
PLG define
PHASE 3

Define

After empathising with users, we move on to the next stage of the design thinking process. Here we precisely define all problems we need to solve for the users. This helps us identify the gap between the current state (that is, the problem) and the desired state (that is, the goal) and create our problem statement.
PLG ideate
PHASE 4

Ideate

We conduct workshops with the stakeholders and use different ideation techniques such as brainstorming, storyboarding, mind-maps, etc., to develop ideas and solve the defined problems.
PLG prototype
PHASE 5

Prototype

To validate our ideas, we convert them into tangible forms by building prototypes of varying degrees of fidelity. Prototyping gives all stakeholders a clear understanding of the concept and potential benefits and risks.
PLG testing
PHASE 6

Test

The captured design concepts in the form of prototypes are then tested with the users. These help us gather feedback, identify potential flaws, and analyse the product’s quality, features, and other crucial components. Re-iterating prototypes lead to fixing the product flaws in the testing phase itself, saving cost and time before launch.
